I have had the pleasure of participating in research studies for folks living with HIV/AIDS conducted by the Liberating Research group. Not only was I touched by the idea of these studies being conducted to learn more about living with this virus in a world that seems to place little importance on it or those of us who struggle do so, I was even more impressed with Liberating Research themselves. My encounters with their staff, coordinators and affiliates were not only professional, timely and courteous but most importantly they were extremely respectful and done in such a dignified manner. I was treated with extreme respect and care that I will never forget and which is not so very common in today's day and age. These studies allowed me to be my authentic self in an atmosphere of safety and extreme ease. I highly recommend Liberating Research and applaud the work they are doing! Thanks for recognizing the value we living with HIV still have!
Dan (US HIV Patient)
My experience with Liberating Research was a very pleasant one. From the initial screening, through the scheduling and the actual interviews the staff was friendly, courteous, professional and displayed genuine interest in my story. The instructions for the study interviews were presented in a way that was clear and hassle-free.
I have to admit that I saw an unexpected benefit in telling my story. I have been busy living my life, but not really taking an opportunity to reflect on the journey that has brought me to this point. I found myself remembering things that I had forgotten or learned to simply take for granted. Upon considering where I was and where I am now, I realized that I am a strong survivor and capable of handling a lot. I felt absolutely empowered!
I really feel honoured to have participated in the study and, through my input, to have potentially impacted the lives of people living with HIV in a positive way.

It was actually quite useful and easy to talk about my condition. I've never really done it before it may act as therapy for me. Mutually beneficial to do the interview I'd say
Kris (UK Parkinson's Patient)
I was surprised to hear back from them. I hadn't realized they were in LONDON, but I got a prompt response to be assessed for their research study. It was two in-home interviews. The interviewers couldn't have been nicer, they were both professional and compassionate. I hope I was able to help with their research and look forward to the opportunity of working with them in the future

Thank you for selecting myself and my wife to have our cancer journey filmed. The professional approach you showed made the experience so easy. You helped us from start to finish and explained everything to us in a way we could understand. The film crew arrived at our house as arranged and were very polite, professional and showed us respect and importantly listened to our story then with their skills turned it in to a fantastic film to be very proud of.
My quote states “Cancer is a long and hard journey, but you don’t have to walk the road alone. You will meet many good people who are there to help and guide you on the road, they will find you when least expecting it!” and I feel you are part of my cancer journey and look forward to helping you in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your company to any other patient or business thinking of using your services. Simply the best!

I felt very relaxed and happy to share my experiences of living with Haemophilia amongst other guys my age. Would be very happy to help again.

It was an absolute pleasure working with you and helped us to also process living with this disease
Darra & Ron (US MDS Patient and Partner)
I had the pleasure of dealing with LIBERATING RESEARCH and every part of the process was not only pleasant but also very professional. I feel they were more than generous in their offer of paying for a study of my life pertaining to medications and HIV.
I would not only recommend them to others but if they ever came up with another study that I could be part of I would be more than happy to join up again. I am from NYC and I am not the most trusting person but the whole event was very comforting because of the people I dealt with and the sincerity
