We are conducting an online survey with 130 people living with HIV and their Partners / loved ones that will contribute towards improving support services for the HIV Community

Who can participate?

People who are living with HIV

What is it?

An online self-completion study, it will take around 35 minutes of your time to complete.

As well as covering experiences and current attitudes, topics will include HIV drug treatments, interaction and relationship with HIV healthcare professionals, and the support services and information available for people who are HIV positive.

This study has been commissioned by a major pharmaceutical company who will use the insights gathered to inform and shape future activities that provide meaningful support for people living with HIV.

How much will I raise for Charity?

(or equivalent in your local currency)

What areas does it cover?

How many people are involved?

How confidential will my responses to the study be?

Please be assured that any information you disclose to us will be treated in the strictest confidence and that the results of the research will only be available in aggregated format to provide an overall picture of experiences and attitudes to the areas being covered in this survey.

None of the answers you give will be attributable to you as an individual and any personal or contact details you provide will never be passed to the company commissioning the study, or to any third party. By law we treat any such information according to strict data protection rules.

How it works?

Usually you would earn money by answering our surveys and you agree to give 10% of your remuneration to the charity that you prefer (you can pay more if you wish). For this survey, the process is unique and special, in order to support the charity associations in the fight against HIV in Australia; for each person who responds to the survey, we will donate, on his/her part, $70 (AUD) to an HIV charity based in Australia.

Once completed you will be able to select one of the following charities: Positive Leadership Development Institute Australia (PLDIA), The Institute of Many (TIM) or the National Association of People living With Hiv Australia (NAPWHA). You will not personally receive any additional payment for your participation but will be able to help raise funds for a charity and participate in other surveys in the future.
